Have a go at sailing at your local London Corinthian Sailing Club – Saturday 21 May

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to learn to sail, then now's your chance.

As part of the RYA Push the Boat Out national campaign to get people to have a go at sailing, London Corinthian Sailing Club (LCSC) is offering the chance of a free taster session on the river in Hammersmith on Saturday 21 May - going out with an experienced club sailor.

Whether you're completely new to sailing, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly, LCSC will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in the nine day event which runs between 14-22 May 2016.

Between 11:00 and 13:00 on Saturday 21 May you can try a free 20 minute sail in a dinghy with an experienced club member on the River Thames in front of the Clubhouse (taster sessions available for anyone 18 Years and above – we regret we're not able to offer tasters for younger sailors). This is a great opportunity to see if sailing's for you. You could even stay and watch the sailing on the river in the early afternoon and have a chat over a club barbecue from 2pm (£5 to cover costs)
