Ratty's Round the Island Race

Sunday 18 August saw a bumper day of activity at the club, culminating in Ratty's Round the Island Race and a BBQ to follow. After a day of beginners' and improvers' training sessions, kindly hosted by John and Oscar, plus fun races for our more experienced sailors, all the boats joined in to chase Ratty round Chiswick Eyot and try to steal his balloons. Well done to Mark, who helmed the winning boat. The racing was followed by a BBQ outside the club house to make the best of the wonderful weather.
