Weymouth Weekend (Dinghy) May Bank Holiday - 2026

Learn to sail, perfect your technique, sail to the horizon or win a race: it's all on offer.
Feel the freedom of dinghy sailing in the wide open spaces of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour and enjoy the world-class facilities and coaching of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.
This weekend is fun, informal & will certainly improve your dinghy sailing.
Courses are available for children of all ages so family members are very welcome- ask Berenice for more details.
Boats available (based on last year- may vary) Please confirm which boat you would like to sail on:
Single-handers: 30 x RS Zests, 6 x RS Tera, 6 x Lasers (range of rigs) and 1 x RS Aeros.
Double-handers: 6 x Laser Bahia, 6 x RS Feva, 5 x Keel boats, 2 x 29er
COST:
3 nights + 2.5 days sailing: only £305 for a shared room and £440 for a single room
(Fri eve stay / Sat full day Sailing / Sat eve stay / Sunday full day Sailing / Sun eve stay / Monday 1/2 day sailing)
Prices are for the room only (no meals included) but rooms have a kitchenette with sink, kettle, microwave, fridge and twin hobs.

A 50% deposit secures your booking at the current price (The RYA will be increasing their prices at the end of Jan '26)
The balance will be due no later than 1st March 2026 (please diarise)

NOTE: there is flexibility e.g. if you can only stay over 1 evening and sail on one day, please email the admin office to discuss availability and pricing. You can also book your own accommodation and just come for the sailing.

Payments and Cancellations:
Standard sailing T&C's will apply. No refunds or transfers will be given to anyone cancelling within eight weeks of the weekend, subject to a replacement being found.
