Race Box
This structure is the race box for the London Corinthian Sailing Club (LCSC). It was built in the early 1960s when LCSC relocated from what is now Furnival gardens to Linden House, find out more about the club's history here.
In 1964, when its was referred to as the 'Starter's Box', it won a Civic Trust Award.
During club races a Race Officer and their deputy can be found in this race box where they manage races by use of flags and sound signals. To see the racebox in action check out the dinghy racing schedule in our calendar.
