The Big Count in Hammersmith - Litter Count & Clean-up!
Published 18:35 on 28 Mar 2017
Join Thames21 to tidy up one of London's biggest litter hotspots by Hammersmith Bridge. As well as cleaning the site, we will be leading a count to find out where all this litter is coming from. This is the first event in a series at Hammersmith Bridge to help us answer questions like:
- is the litter issue on the Thames getting worse or better?
- which types of litter are the most common?
- how is the litter getting into the river (and how do we stop it)?
We would love you to come down and give a helping hand. All ages welcome, children under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult. If interested, drop us an email below – or you can simply show up! Boots and gloves will be provided by Thames21.
