Thames Turtles
Member Family Dinghy Event for Members and their immediate family/children's guardian only.
The event is suitable for children aged 4-9 years.
This event is max 10 children. Please can each parent sign up their child individually to the relevant category of participation, download and complete a Booking and Parental Form (see below) and email that before the event to Berenice admin@lcsc.org.uk
Bookable Tickets see below to select:
£10 - Children U4 - participating in the speedboat activities. This includes participation in the Treasure Hunt, a goodie bag and refreshments. Each child to be accompanied by one parent/guardian/approved adult in the safety boat.
£15 - Age 4 to 9 - participating in sailing &/or speedboat activities. This includes saililng boat hire, a goodie bag and refreshments. Each child to be accompanied by one parent/guardian/approved adult in the sailboat.
Plan for the Day (might change slightly on the day)
Arrival
2pm Get changed and fitted out with buoyancy aid
2.30pm Slow speedboat ride and visit to Treasure Island to pick up Goody Bag
3pm Pizza & cake in clubhouse followed by some instruction about sailing or a short video TBC
4pm Sailing or rowing in Fusions or Vision (ratios: 1 adult to 1 child). Half an hour for the very young children, up to a full hour for the rest.
4.30pm Fast speedboat ride and/or jumping in the water and being rescued
5pm Showers/Get changed to go home.
