Bjorn Riis-Johannessen lives in Switzerland. Since his retirement some 12 years ago, Bjorn has been arranging skitouring trips to Norway and ski/sailing expeditions to the Antarctic. Bjorn first went to the Antarctic with the Alpine Club and eventually led his own expeditions there. He now sails his own yacht Adélie, an Aphrodite 37, cruising northern waters with a three month return cruise from Sweden to Lofoten this last summer.
