JOG St Peter's Port
The Channel Race from Cowes to St Peter Port is a brilliant opportunity for LCSC members to dip their toes into offshore sailing while enjoying the camaraderie and challenge that come with it.
This iconic passage across the English Channel typically takes between 12 to 18 hours, offering a taste of open-water navigation, tidal strategy, and night sailingall within a well-supported and sociable race format.
The reward? A well-earned evening in the beautiful harbour town of St Peter Port, Guernsey. With its welcoming atmosphere, historic charm, and excellent pubs and restaurants, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day at sea.
Whether you're building offshore racing skills or just looking for a memorable weekend on the water, this race is not to be missed
NOTE: This is a Friday evening start and then a night race across the channel to St Peters Port in Guernsey (hopefully for a Saturday afternoon arrival). This is ideal if you want to practice night racing or navigation and it's a shorter distance than a typical RORC race.
COST: £485 (the costs do not include fuel, moorings, food and drinks)
