Sailing on the Norfolk Broads - Fri 24th – Mon 27th August 2018 – August Bank Holiday weekend

A late addition to the 2018 calendar but sure to be a popular trip!

Explore the stunning Norfolk Broads over the late August Bank Holiday weekend. The Broads boast a 120 mile network of navigable waterways made up of rivers, lakes and channels.

Most of the Norfolk Broads can only be reached by water and offer a slower and more peaceful way of life. The sailing will be great fun, and there will be a lot to entertain us on the water.

As a national park, the Norfolk Broads feature spectacular scenery and wildlife that has remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

We have chartered traditional yachts with masts that come down so we can navigate under bridges. These boats sleep 4- 6 people and have basic cooking, toilet and washing facilities.

No doubt we will also be stopping off at some local pubs for refreshments along the way!

The cost of the trip is £125 per person. This does not include fuel, any mooring costs and food and drink.

We are chartering our boats from Eastwood Whelpton - a family-run sailing company, located in Upton – in the heart Norfolk Broads' best sailing waters.

Upton Yacht Station, Boat Dyke Road, Upton, Norfolk, NR13 6BL.

We will pick up the boats on Friday evening, returning late afternoon on the Monday to make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend, without having to take any time off from work.
