Solent Cruise - Offshore Rally

A collaboration of offshore and dinghy sailors for the event of the Summer.

We will nominate a Friday night watering hole in Hamble for those who wish to congregate and compare strategies for Saturdays event.

The rally will take place on the Saturday and you'll be notified of the course a couple of weeks before the event.

Boats will be handicapped and our esteemed Race Captain has declared that Spinnakers must be allowed.

We aim to finish off at Cowes about 3.30pm

For the evenings entertainment we have booked the Cowes Corinthians Sailing club, for dinner followed by a prize giving and a disco.

COST: The price of this weekend is £305 per person (not including food & drink or mooring fees and fuel which will be shared amongst all on board)

We welcome anyone who wants to bring their own boat and the cost per person is £70 for rally, meal and disco. Contact the admin office to register your boat name and crew.

Solent Weekends are ideal for everyone, from new members to very experienced sailors. The weekends are run by our volunteer Club Skippers, who are very happy to share their knowledge with you, but please note that they are not Instructors.
