This delightful and unspoiled group of islands are in the Indian Ocean, conveniently located well away from the path of cyclones. The cruise will concentrate on the inner islands many of which are fringed by reef and white sandy beaches and are home to giant tortoise and a wide variety of sea and bird life.
We will sail from Eden Island Marina near the capital Victoria on the island of Mahé and explore the nearby islands of Cerf and St Anne, Baie Ternay Marine National Park and Port Launay Marine National Park. Heading East towards the island of Praslin we will pass the island of Silhouette. On Praslin we will stay in Anse Lasio and search for the famed Honesty Bar. Visiting Curiese we will go ashore and explore the old turtle pond and the Tortoise Conservation Project. The small Islet of St Pierre makes an ideal tropical anchorage in calm weather. Calling in at Baie St Anne to replenish our supplies we will have the opportunity to visit the Valle de Mai with its unique tropical forest and plant life. We will also visit the islands of La Digue featuring one of the top 10 beaches in the world, Felicite and Cousin a special wild life reserve.
We will mainly eat aboard and if lucky be able to eat the fresh fish which we have caught on passage.
The price for the trip is £720 if you're on a monohull and £1120 if you've chosen to sail on a catamaran.
A deposit of £150 is now due on booking, regardless of your choice of boat. 50% of the balance will be due 1 Dec and the remaining 50% mid January.

Flights: Emirates fly daily services from Gatwick via Dubai, British Airways from Heathrow alternate days, Qatar from Gatwick and Etihad from Heathrow. Please plan your flights so that you arrive in Mahe by mid afternoon on 10th March.
