Sailing with Spinnakers Session

This event is for LCSC members and students only.

By booking onto this event, you are confirming you have read, understood and accepted the Dinghy Terms and Conditions which can be seen HERE.

Suitable for sailors with at least a level 2 dinghy certificate or equivalent experience

As it says on the tin, rig, hoist, sail, drop and race with both symmetrical spinnakers on X boats and Asymmetric's on Fusions 2's.

The session will be a mix of both shore based and on-the-water training, and last approximately 5 hours.

Suitable for the following levels of experience:

Improver (RYA Level 2 or similar)

Intermediate (Greater than RYA level 2, with further experience sailing on the river)

We also offer various other training sessions to help you improve your level of experience, including: RYA Level 1 and 2 courses, ILCAs for Beginners, Start Racing, and various talks from world-class sailors.

Please arrive in good time as we will be starting promptly.

Cost: £75 which includes dinghy and equipment hire.

No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made the week prior to the session, unless a replacement can be found.

By joining this event you agree and hereby declare that:

I am fit to participate in the sailing session and will wear an appropriate buoyancy aid at all times when on the ramp, the pontoon or on the water and follow instructions given by the LCSC instructors.

Although I am covered for third party liability by LCSC insurers, I understand that owing to the nature of the sporting activity, LCSC cannot take any liability for personal injury or other damages unless proved negligent.
