This course will teach you how to cope with medical emergencies on board, from minor ailments to serious situations that require an immediate response.
The syllabus covers situations you are likely to encounter while at sea, with particular emphasis on resuscitation techniques and caring for a person overboard.
We also explain how to obtain outside medical assistance and what to expect when involved in a helicopter rescue scenario. The certificate is valid for three years and is essential to everyone who sails.

This RYA 1st Aid Course will be split over 2 evenings - Tues 27th Feb + Tue 5th March. Timings: 18:30 - 21:30
Both sessions needs to be attended in full for certification.
This is a classroom based course held at the LCSC, W69TA.
On successful completion of the course, your instructor will hand you your RYA 1st Aid certificate.
