Pogo Racing In Greece

This is one of the new Club Championships, to race Pogo 12.50 boats around the Greek Islands.

Three teams of Corinthians will race from island to island on race boats capable of flying along at 20kts. You'll fly into Athens, where the marina is a 40 minute drive away. Pogo 12.50's are Class 40 plaining asymettric spinnaker race boats, with twin rudders and lifting keels. There's a lot of new equipment on these boats you won't have seen before.

The first day on the water is dedicated to Training, to get used to this new type of boat. From there, the courses will be set each evening depending on the prevailing winds. You'll race during the day, and have all crew pull into a taverna in the evening to congratulate / commiserate with each other. It's the last bit of good sunshine racing we'll have before the winter sets in.

COST: £790 (cost does not include flights which need to be secured individually by the crew)
