Discover Sailing Day
As part of the RYA Discover Sailing National Campaign to get people to have a go at sailing, London Corinthian Sailing Club (LCSC) is offering the chance of a free taster session on the river in Hammersmith on Saturday 14th Aug.
Between 1300 to 1530hrs you can try a free 20-minute sail in a dinghy with an experienced club member on the River Thames in front of the Clubhouse (taster sessions available for anyone 18+ Years).
Please read the PDF below before signing up to a session. By signing up you are declaring you have read and accepted the T & C's.Bookings will open mid-July. At that point, please sign up below or via the website calendar to secure a slot in advance. We will have a spare boat on the day for last minute places but will not be able to guarantee these!
Sailing can be as physical or as relaxing as you want to make it, you can sail with others or on your own, do it competitively or potter about and just enjoy the gentle escape of being outside in the elements.
So, whether you're completely new to sailing or looking to get back on the water, this is a great opportunity to see if sailing is for you!
Please arrive 20 minutes before your session to be fitted with a buoyancy aid.
Should you wish to hire a wetsuit (£5/session) please arrive 45 minutes prior to your session.
Sessions timings are:
1. 1300-1320
2. 1330 1350
3. 1400-1420
4. 1430-1450
5. 1500-1520
6. 1530-1550
