RORC - Myth of Malham
Please note: you will need to have completed one training session or race in the last year to be able to participate in this race.
Myth of Malham is a 230NM race from Cowes, around the Eddystone lighthouse, south of Plymouth before returning to the Solent.
The route is the same as the beginning of the Fastnet, making it popular with racers; especially as it takes in some of the most challenging and complex tidal gates around notable headlands such Portland Bill and Start Point.
If you are interested in a Fastnet Campaign in 2027 this race is a good trial event.
This race will give you the opportunity to practice your skills and get used to shifts as the race takes place over approximately 3 days.
You will join the boat on the Friday 22nd May pm/evening to prepare your boat for the race and discuss plans and tactics with your team.
COST: £520 (the costs do not include fuel, moorings, food and drinks)
By booking onto this event you are confirming you have read, understood and accepted the Offshore Terms and Conditions
(Reminder for all racing events, the security deposit liability will be £200 per crew member, per race event)
