JOG Cowes to Yarmouth

This is the second weekend in our LCSC JOG Coastal campaign and has a race on both days.

The first Saturday race will start in Cowes and weave around the solent ("round the cans") before finishing in Yarmouth. This race should take a good number of hours to complete.

The Sunday race will be in reverse. Starting in Yarmouth, following a round the cans course, and finishing outside Cowes. We will then return to Hamble.

You will be racing on a Reflex 38 Cougar. This is a handicap competitive boat that is fully equipped with racing sails, a wardrobe of spinnakers (both symmetric and asymmetric), as well as a Code Zero.

This race is suitable for those who have experience racing or have done some training with the club. If you are unsure or have further questions please contact rcoffshoreracing@lcsc.org.uk

Accommodation will be on the boat so please make your own arrangements to stay ashore in Cowes on Saturday if that is your preference.

COST £450 for crew members (the costs do not include fuel, moorings & provisions which will be shared amongst the crew)

(Reminder for all racing events, the security deposit liability will be £200 per crew member, per race event)

Replacements are not guaranteed on any withdrawals within two months leading up to racing events. Refunds can only be issued if a replacement is found.
