Easter Solent Cruise - 13th to 17th April

13th - 17 April 2017

UK Jurassic Coast - 13 - 17th April - £160pp charter only

Join us for a 4 day cruise to Weymouth, at the bargain price of £160 per person (charter only)

The Jurassic Coast is one of the most popular destinations in Britain, drawing visitors from all over the world. The Jurassic Coast's stunning coast line is only visible from the water, and the best way to appreciate it is from the sea. On the water you can get up close and person to dramatic sea stacks, and admire sweeping beaches, intimate coves and cliffs.

The details of the itinerary will be provided to you by your skipper. Places of interest include the awe inspiring Lulworth Cove, and the exceptional geography of 200 million year old rock formations including Stair Hole, Man O'War, St Oswlads Bay and Durdle Door.

We have chartered the boats from Thursday 13th April until Monday 17th April. The plan is to board on the evening of Thursday 13th April, at Hamble Point Marina, and then set off on the cruise in the morning of Friday 14th April, returning to Hamble Point in the afternoon of Monday 17th April.

Friday morning is likely to start with a cooked breakfast on board and the safety briefing before we set sail. Exactly where we go depends on winds and tides, but there are many options. We are likely to spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in different marinas, sampling the local cuisine in a hostelry, or preparing a meal on board.

Your Skipper will be a well-qualified experienced offshore sailor who is a member of Corinthians. He/she will be very happy to share their knowledge and love of sailing. You can get as involved in the sailing as much as you like, and we all help with cooking and clearing up, etc.

Solo sailors, either beginners or experienced are all welcome, but it is likely you will share a cabin with another club member. We do our best to accommodate friend requests, but may need to balance out crew experience etc.

At £160 for the weekend, the club weekends are cheaper than commercial trips. Note: you will also need to pay your share of on board expenses including food, drinks, and fuel and mooring fees.

Please book on line and then pay Berenice in the usual way.
