Zoom Session with Peter Hopps

Within a week our long time chief instructor Peter Hopps is going to sail from the Caribbean back to UK single handed on Sam of Hamble (a Sigma 37). We're going to have a zoom call Q&A with him to talk through preparation for trans ocean crossings, and how he conducts these passages. I'll be discussing the various considerations of his trip, and then open up the Q&A to those signed in to cover anything we've not discussed already.

This is a great opportunity to get an insight into distance sailing from someone who probably has done more ocean sailing than the rest of our membership combined. On a personal note, I did the crossing a couple of years ago with Peter, and found it to be one of the best learning experiences I've had in sailing.
