This will be the perfect chance to get some miles in that logbook! Please feel welcome to join if you are at a minimum, at a Competent Crew standard.

For those who are at Day skipper standard or above there will be the opportunity to try your hand at, or continue to practice skippering longer passages with the fall-back of guidance from an instructor if required.

This will enable those who intend to take their Yachtmaster Coastal/Offshore exams at some point to complete some of their qualifying 60M+ passages.

We will look at and practice cross channel course to steers and navigating using EP's/circles of uncertainty so you can feel confident to continue cruising or at least get safely home in the unlikely event that the electronics pack up.

For those who haven't done their Day skipper yet it will be a chance to experience extended sail cruising with watch systems and night passages.

We will typically cover 350-450 miles in the seven days and possible destinations will be France, The Channel Islands, The West Country and if the weather dictates Brighton and points east of the Solent.
