Training at LCSC

Learn all about yacht and/or dinghy sailing with the London Corinthian. We have a variety of courses, practical sessions and lectures:

Dinghy courses The Club organises beginners and race training courses from the clubhouse on the River Thames.

RYA shore-based courses The London Corinthian Sailing Club is a recognised RYA Shorebased Teaching Establishment and runs a full set of courses including Day Skipper Theory, Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory, VHF, Diesel Engine Maintenance and First Aid.

Offshore practical training The club runs a variety of weekend courses where members can improve their skills or learn new ones such as spinnaker handling. Groups of members also go on RYA courses together.

Talks The Club organises a series of talks on a wide range of matters relating to sailing. These take place at the clubhouse on a Thursday evening about twice a month during the winter and spring. Non-members are welcome.
