Training at LCSC

London Corinthian Sailing Club offers a range of good value RYA training courses, with professional instruction. RYA level 1 and 2 dinghy training and offshore theory courses are offered at our riverside clubhouse and practical courses on yachts in the Solent. Our unique club structure and welcoming atmosphere provides follow-on sailing opportunities including cruising and racing in dinghies and yachts. The club also provides a training regatta programme for members combining dinghy and yacht training regatta's. Details can be found under the Offshore practical and race training section below.

Dinghy Courses RYA Level 1 and 2 courses. The club organises beginners and race training courses from the clubhouse on the River Thames. In addition the club also runs non accredited improvers courses.

RYA Shore-based courses London Corinthian Sailing Club is a recognised RYA Shorebased Teaching Establishment and runs a full set of courses including Day Skipper Theory, Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory, VHF, Diesel Engine Maintenance and First Aid.

Offshore practical & race training RYA cruising scheme practical training courses, non RYA practical training and race training courses. The club also runs a variety of weekend courses where members can improve their skills or learn new ones such as boat handling, spinnaker training and courses for coaching sailing skills.

Talks The Club organises a series of talks on a wide range of matters relating to sailing. These take place at the clubhouse on a Thursday evening about twice a month during the winter and spring. Non-members are welcome.
