Oxford & Cambridge race 2005

Just a reminder that Boat Race Day and Easter Sunday will be upon us soon!

If you are staying in London for Easter, why not come along to Linden House on Sunday, 27th March - but do please remember to bring your club membership card as the door staff will be checking IDs.

Food, booze, atmosphere - don't stay watching this at home - come and join in the action!

The main bar will open at 12.00 noon and stay open until late, so come early and grab yourself and your guests a luncheon table. A hot and cold buffet will be available from 12.30 pm and served until just before the Race itself at 3.00 pm. The buffet lunch is only £8 per head and available on a first come - first served basis.

If you haven't confirmed you are coming for lunch, it would be helpful if you could let David Thomas know as soon as possible via his e-mail address manager@linden-house.org

In addition to the buffet, a range of hot snacks will be available from the Sons' food tent outside, with bar food available in Linden House after the Race and into the afternoon. The lower bar will also be open for beer and wine sales during peak periods to ease service congestion at the upper bar.

Members are reminded that parking restrictions are in force locally all day during the Boat Race, however, parking is usually available closer to King Street. Due to operational reasons the clubhouse forecourt will be cleared of all non-essential vehicles and parking is therefore restricted.

We look forward to seeing you on the day. Bring a guest and please remember your membership card.
