Bar Hours

The Club has an excellent bar on the first floor of Linden House, overlooking the river. Hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 1800 until 2300, with food from 1900 until 2130.

Monday and Friday - the Club House is closed

Saturday and Sunday - 1200 mid-day until 1800 and, if late sailing is scheduled, until 2 hours after High Water. Food available from 1200 midday until 1500, and then snacks after 1500.

Food

We are lucky to have thoroughly delicious quality food available. There is a minimum choice of two main courses and two cheaper snack options, except for Saturday and Sunday after 3pm when just snacks/cakes etc. are available. You probably know by now that all food is freshly cooked from original ingredients - absolutely no microwaved pre-prepared meals are allowed anywhere near the kitchen by Wendy, who is our Linden House Manager. Regularly helping behind the bar and cooking the food are Marta, Milda, Hanna and Anniko, so if you are new please say hello. Menus are constantly changed.

Club night

Tuesday evening is our Club night and it's also the best time to visit if you want to find out more about the club. A good time to arrive is between 8.00 and 8.30 pm before the bar gets busy. This will enable you to see the facilities and meet some of our members.

New members' night

The first Tuesday in every month is New Members' Night at the Club. So if you have recently joined the Club and don't know many other members yet, come along for a drink in the bar. If you don't know who to talk to, just approach anyone wearing a blue or pink club crew shirt. The club members who organise the offshore and dinghy sailing programme of events will be wearing these shirts (so you'll recognise them) and will be happy to answer your questions and introduce you to other club members.
