The best non racing event of the year is fast approaching: I'm pleased to announce the launch of the 2007 Treasure Hunt. Put the date in your diaries now!
This year there will be significant changes to the event. We're taking all the best bits and adding some even better bits to give you the bigger better fitter dafter Treasure Hunt. This year there will be:
New Format
New Tasks
New Venue
Different Clues!
The Treasure Hunt starts on Saturday morning in the Hamble and will involve the crews sailing around in an apparently random pattern doing daft things, solving devilish clues, causing mayhem and having the best laugh on the Solent. On Saturday Evening you will be in Yarmouth for more fun, more entertainment and a blow out party. A lazy start on Sunday will be followed by an easy cruise back to the Hamble and off back to the real world.
For those of you who haven't been on the Treasure Hunt before, it is a fantastic event, open to all and where everyone has a role to play. For those of you who are old hands you can't recycle your old clues and you won't be asked to do the same tasks and you won't be in Cowes!
This is a great event, the daftest of the year by far and a good time is had by all. More details will be published soon but places are going to be limited
