Dragonfly Too 2004
X332 racing has always been popular with LCSC members and the X332 Dragonfly Too was
raced extensively by Armando D'Amico and others in 2003.
This spring Dragonfly Too has been reserved by the club for LCSC members to race
in the Warsash Spring Series.
This Series opens the racing season with a series of six Sunday races,
in which X332s have their own class.
We also aim to compete in the RORC Red Funnel regatta,
a separate event of 7 races over the Easter weekend.
The aim is to build a team, improve our skills and compete against our peers.
The boat is based in Port Hamble and will be available for the whole weekend,
so we can practice on the Saturday. Racing starts at around 10:30 on Sunday,
allowing us to be back at Port Hamble before 16:00.
You can arrive Friday night, Saturday night or very early Sunday morning.
We will eat on the boat and there is some accommodation available onboard.
Cost for each race weekend £85 (+ £250 refundable security deposit for the whole series).
Food, accommodation, berth (if used) will be extra. Waterproof hire available at £15 a weekend.
Dates:
** 14,21 and 28th March 4,18 and 25th April **
Easter weekend 9th – 11th April 2004: Red Funnel regatta
Please contact Mike Ridley and
let him know which dates you would like to do
- preference to those who can do more races and first come first served!
