Dartmouth Royal Regatta

July update, racing on Panther Logic will be with a combined crew of LCSC members, Sailing Logic and Global Yacht Racing clients.

Dartmouth is a popular West Country regatta with racing mainly in Start Bay. The club participated on three boats during 2009 and we are taking part again in 2010, in a mixture of classes to suit all club members, utilising club member's boats. Opportunities for club members interested in mileage building may include the options of deliveries with the club's senior skippers and cruising instructors.

Racing, depending on option chosen, will therefore be within the appropriate class or IRC rating and for IRC is from 26th to 29th August, with some of the options including a training day on 25th August. Members booking here should choose their preferred option, if places are unavailable on the preferred option, places will be offered on the other classes where space exists to members on the waiting list for their preferred class. The price advertised is for the whole week.

Experience Regatta racing at a competitive level with the Global Yacht Racing team on Panther Logic. The price includes delivery, training day, return delivery, and includes all costs, berthing, food on board, and accommodation on the boat. You will be racing against the IRC fleet and two other boats in the Reflex 38 Sailing Logic fleet, including the RORC 2009 boat of the year, Puma Logic. This option is most suitable for experienced racers or those with regatta experience looking to attain better results, training and competing to do well.
