Arethusa Cruising 2004

John Duff's member-organised cruising provides a mix of day sailing and passages on board "Arethusa", a Bowman 40 foot cutter. The boat is well equipped and coded for cruising. It has new working sails, good downwind sails and comfortable berths for up to 5 crew.

Many LCSC members have joined John for one or more legs of his cruises. See the reports of the 2002 Norway cruise and the 2003 Brittany/Med cruise to find out about their experiences and get a feel for how the boat is run.

In 2004 the cruises will first take Arethusa from Menorca to the South of France-Corsica-Sardinia and back to Menorca. Later in the season there will be cruising around the Balearics. Both cruises offer great sailing among some of the most attractive Mediterranean island scenery together with great anchorages and swimming possibilities.

Cost will be around £150 per week plus share of food, diesel and berthing. If you are interested either contact John or meet him at the club house on Tuesday nights.
