In addition to the Warsash Spring Series, the Club is putting together a competitive squad to race in this summers X332 National championships - see www.x332.org.uk - Armando D'Amico is organising this campaign, with Petra Cook and Andy Blackstone.
The programme combines coached training and racing in national
and international events and builds up gradually to the Nationals. Dates and events:
| 18th - 20th April | Rorc Red Funnel Series - Solent - 7 races | |
| 10th - 11th May | Team training with X332 association | |
| 28th - 29th June | Team training weekend with professional coach | |
| 17th - 19th July | BMW X-Yachts Gold Cup - Solent - 5 races | |
| 20th - 24th August | X332 National Championships - Solent - 8 races |
We
will be chartering one of the most competitive X332's on the Solent to give us
every advantage!
The total cost will be £950 + damage and fuel.
If you are interested you will need to be an experienced inshore racer (round the cans) preferably on the X332 in the Solent or prove your ability in the Warsash Spring Series 2003.
You will need to commit to the whole programme, however we will keep a reserve list for those who can only join individual events if required.
Please confirm your interest and suitable experience. You will either be selected at this stage or asked to first compete in the LCSC Warsash Spring Series X332 campaign.
