Bill White has been a member of the Club since 1957, is Secretary of The 1805 Club, which is concerned with research and restoration relating to the Georgian sailing Royal Navy. He is also a member of the Official Nelson Commemorations Committee, which is overseeing events nationally for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 2005.
