After two years Jon Smith has resigned from the post of Laser Class Captain
due to pressure of academic commitments. Rhys Triffitt was unanimously elected
new class captain at the Laser Class Meeting. Rhys has recently joined the club
after graduating from Birmingham University and moving to London to work. Rhys'
exploits on the river have already seen him take home two trophies and his experience
of other clubs should help him guide the growth of the laser fleet.
