Tamesis - Team racing

Saturday 20th March 2004

The two LCSC teams arrived at Tamesis Sailing Club on Saturday morning in good time. Getting the boats out of the undercrofts and onto the road was interesting.

Caption competition:

The LCSC racers were grouped in to 2 teams, an A team and a B team. For team each were two boats. There were five clubs attending the team racing at Tamesis.

The weather was clear and blustery for the morning session of racing. With the B teams launched first the racing started.

The first race started with some confusion both on the water and on shore in the race box. Despite this the racing was competitive and some boats were clearly dominating their races.

Sadly, The afternoons round of racing was cancelled due to the strengthening wind making racing dangerous.

This means the cup stays with London Corinthian SC for another year. A great result.
