Experiences in the Antarctic - talk by John DuffAdd to my calendar
18 - 25 April, 20:00 until 21:00
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to go to Antarctica, here's how to find out!
Club member John Duff spent over 2 years in the Antarctic with the British Antarctic Survey in the late 1960's, and visited again in 2015.
He's kindly offered to share some of his breathtaking photos and experiences from those trips in this great talk.
And while not directly a sailing presentation, his talk certainly involves the sea!
So do come along, buy a drink from the bar and join us in the Commodore's Room at 8pm – and find out what cold really means!
