Sailing during racing

If you're not keen on sailing competitively, you can still come down to the club for a sail during the times when Points Series or Cup racing takes place at the club.

You can take out your own boat or one from the club, you'll just have to wait until the race has started to launch, and to stay out of the way of other racers. The safety boat will be on hand to help you out in case of any mishaps.

On specially selected date are "Toe In the Water Specials" events. These are special events for Beginners and Novices. On these dates you can expect the following:

A dedicated member on hand to assist you with:
- Finding someone to sail with
- Rigging a boat
- Launching
- Assistance on the water with a 2nd Safety boat

To identify the event look for "Toe In The Water Specials" in the calendar.
