LCSC are pleased to be offering RYA Dinghy Level 1 & 2 certification for members and non-members on our own stretch of the river. Each level will be held over one weekend – a full Saturday and Sunday of instruction - combining both the theory and practical aspects of sailing, with approximately four weeks scheduled between the two weekends during which time students will be expected to join in club sailing sessions, sail with and get to know experienced club members, such that by the time of the second weekend they will become competent dinghy sailors in their own right. Dinghy courses are run by the club's own senior dinghy instructor, Gareth Llewellyn.

Most courses are open to Non Members and for some courses the prices include a year's membership to the club or a waiver of the joining fee for non-members joining when they book the course.

Please note: dates are not interchangeable.

The course price for RYA level 1 & 2 also includes a year's membership of the club for non-members joining when they book the course - so you can enjoy all the benefits of the club and keep sailing after the end of the course!
