Tuesday Night is Club Night

The Bar

The Club has an excellent bar on the first floor of Linden House, overlooking the river. It is open every weekend (from two hours before scheduled start of race to two hours after end of race) and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 1800 to 2300.

Hot meals are available in the bar at these times, particularly popular with those members arriving straight from work. Menus are constantly changed.

Tuesday evening is our Club night and it's also the best time to visit if you want to find out more about the club. A good time to arrive is between 8.00 and 8.30 pm before the bar gets busy. This will enable you to see the facilities and meet some of our members.

New members' night

The first Tuesday in every month is New Members' Night at the Club. So if you have recently joined the Club and don't know many other members yet, come along for a drink in the bar. If you don't know who to talk to, just approach anyone wearing a blue or pink club crew shirt. The club members who organise the offshore and dinghy sailing programme of events will be wearing these shirts (so you'll recognise them) and will be happy to answer your questions and introduce you to other club members.
